Impacting Our Local Community

Our purpose is to impact our local community with the love of Christ by partnering with ministries in our community to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs; encouraging individuals from Cornerstone to serve outside the church walls; investing time, money, prayers, and personnel to see people transformed.

Our Leadership
The execution of Cornerstone’s purpose, values, and vision for local missions is facilitated by our Local Missions Team (LMT).  The LMT consists of CBC members under the direction of Pastor Mike Medeiros.

What does the Local Missions Team do?

Pray for Cornerstone, our community, and our partner ministries;
Educate and challenge Cornerstone about the needs and opportunities to minister in our community;
Recruit volunteers to serve with partner ministries;
Allocate funds wisely in our support of partner ministries;
Sponsor and promote training seminars, outreach events, prayer walks, etc., which will help people to better engage with the local community.
