Rebekah Mehany is excited to join the CBC Ministry Team to serve the little people and their families at CBC! Rebekah grew up as a pastor’s daughter in the deep south and was blessed to know how much Jesus loved her from a young age. When a summer VBS teacher shared the gospel with her at the age of five, she gave her heart to Jesus and told Him she would do whatever He asked her to do for the rest of her life. More than four decades later, that still remains the best decision she’s ever made and she stands in awe of His goodness, faithfulness, and ever present grace in her life. In those years, God has given Rebekah many opportunities to serve Him through ministry to children and families. She holds a Masters of Social Work degree from Tulane University and has held many roles where it was her great honor to serve families and children, most recently as Assistant Director of Western Christian Preschool. Rebekah loves working with children and is passionate about supporting parents in the highest calling of raising them to know Jesus and His amazing plan for their lives. Rebekah met her amazing husband Albert while serving on a mission trip in China, and has witnessed God’s faithfulness in their marriage for the past 23 years. They have three children: Luke, Josh, and Grace. Now young adults, they are still the joy of their parent’s hearts and living examples of how big God’s grace can be in giving such good gifts to our family. Rebekah is thrilled to share the love of Jesus with young children and their families as we seek to grow, serve, and connect together at Cornerstone!
